Genelia Biography

Popular Telugu actress Genelia D'Souza was born on August 5, 1987, in England. She is also known to people close to her as Harini. Her parents originally hail from Goa and later moved to England. Genelia made her move from England to India in pursuit of her childhood dream of becoming an actress. She got her first break in the movie 'Boys' directed by Shankar. The film was a box-office hit and soon Genelia started getting more roles. Genelia has so far acted in over a dozen Telugu, Tamil and Hindi movies.

Genny reached the magic figure???

As the recession even hitting the films and the Malayalam film industry has already the heroines to reduce their rates. But this doesn't seem to be affecting our own Telugu film industry at all. The entire scenario is different here and every now and then our stars are raising their remuneration. Now the latest buzz is that the Bubbly beauty Genelia has now hiked her remuneration to the Magic figure Rs 1 Crore. Earlier Genny use to charge Rs.50 to 70 lakhs per flick and with this movie she is will join Nayanatara, Anushka, Trisha and Ileana's 1 Crore club. Good going Genny!!!!
